Welcome to Golf Cruises

Where Golf Vacations Meet Luxury Travel

If you love golf and love to travel, GolfCruises.com was created for you.

GolfCruises.com is the golf travel division of Club Cruise™, designed to combine the world’s great golf destinations with unforgettable cruise journeys.

Plan Your Next Round

From Tee Time to Sea Time

From tee time on the world’s great courses to sea time aboard a luxury cruise ship.

GolfCruises.com began with a simple observation:

Often one traveler dreams of a golf vacation, while their spouse or travel partner dreams of a luxury cruise.

Rather than choosing one or the other, Club Cruise™ founder created a way to combine both. The result was Golf Cruises — a travel concept where golfers could enjoy world class courses while their partners enjoyed the comfort and luxury of cruising.

The Early Days of Golf Cruises

The concept quickly gained traction with major cruise lines including Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Line.

Many sailings included organized golf shore excursions featuring:

• Two to four championship golf courses during a 7 day cruise
• Hosted play with resident or visiting PGA golf professionals
• Instruction, clinics, and social golf events
• Small group golf travel programs

These sailings became known as “Golf Ahoy!” programs, allowing travelers to combine their passion for the game with incredible travel experiences.

Built for the Golf Community

GolfCruises.com evolved into the sports travel division of Club Cruise™, dedicated entirely to golf travelers.

The program grew through partnerships with:

• Golf magazines
• PGA professionals and instructors
• Golf clubs and private club communities
• Travel expos and golf events

Club Cruise™ also worked closely with golf professionals who hosted small group golf trips for their members and clients, creating unique travel opportunities for golfers across the country.

Partnerships with Golf Clubs Nationwide

GolfCruises.com developed strong relationships with golf clubs and private club communities across the United States.

Through partnerships with ClubCorp (now Invited Clubs) and other club networks, Club Cruise™ hosted travel seminars, cruise nights, and golf travel presentations directly for club members.

These events introduced golfers to travel experiences that combined:

• Golf travel
• Cruise vacations
• Hosted trips with fellow club members

For many golfers, it became the perfect way to travel with friends while enjoying both the game and the journey.

A New Era for GolfCruises.com

Today, GolfCruises.com is being reintroduced for a new generation of golf travelers. Interest in combining golf culture with luxury travel continues to grow, especially with developments such as Viking’s global sponsorship of the PGA TOUR. Luxury travel advisor Heather Viking will be helping guide the next phase of GolfCruises.com, sharing new travel ideas and connecting with golf travelers through select events and travel experiences.

These may include:

• Appearances at travel expos and cruise nights
• Hosted Vines to Voyages travel gatherings
• Golf destination travel paired with cruise itineraries
• Travel surrounding select PGA Tour host destinations

What Is a Fairway Vacation?

One of Club Cruise's core ideas around Golf Cruises is a fairway vacation.

 • A golf vacation combined with a cruise journey
• A small group golf trip with friends
• Travel surrounding a PGA Tour event
• A golf club hosted group trip
• A golf destination paired with a luxury cruise

Wherever the journey begins, our team helps coordinate the details from accommodations and transportation to cruise reservations and travel logistics.

Planning a Golf Trip, Group, or Event?

The World’s Most Extraordinary Golf Courses

Where Great Golf Meets Great Travel

For many travelers, golf is more than a game. It is a gateway to some of the most beautiful places in the world. The greatest courses combine dramatic landscapes, rich history, and exceptional design that challenge players while delivering unforgettable scenery.

From historic Scottish links shaped by the sea to cliffside fairways overlooking the Pacific, many of the world’s most iconic golf courses are also located in remarkable travel destinations. For travelers who love both golf and exploration, these locations offer the perfect blend of sport, culture, and adventure.

At Club Cruise™, we help travelers turn bucket list courses into seamless travel experiences, combining golf with luxury hotels, regional exploration, and unforgettable destinations.

Below are several legendary courses that continue to inspire golfers and travelers alike.

St Andrews – The Old Course

St Andrews, Scotland

Often referred to as the birthplace of golf, the Old Course at St Andrews has been welcoming players for centuries. Walking across the famous Swilcan Bridge and finishing a round along these historic fairways is a dream for golfers around the world.

A trip to St Andrews also opens the door to exploring Scotland’s castles, coastal villages, whisky distilleries, and legendary links courses throughout the region. For many travelers, it becomes the centerpiece of a larger Scottish golf journey.

Pebble Beach Golf Links

Monterey Peninsula, California

Pebble Beach is widely considered one of the most scenic courses in the United States. Dramatic coastal cliffs, crashing Pacific waves, and cypress lined fairways create an experience that is both visually stunning and historically significant.

Many travelers combine Pebble Beach with a California coastal itinerary, exploring Monterey, Carmel by the Sea, and the breathtaking Pacific Coast Highway.

Kingsbarns Golf Links

Fife, Scotland

Just a short drive from St Andrews, Kingsbarns is a modern links masterpiece overlooking the North Sea. Nearly every hole offers panoramic ocean views, making it one of the most visually striking courses in Scotland. Many golfers include Kingsbarns as part of a multi course golf journey through Scotland’s legendary east coast golf region.

Whistling Straits

Wisconsin, United States

Located along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, Whistling Straits feels remarkably similar to traditional Irish links courses. Rugged terrain, windswept dunes, and dramatic bunkers create a championship level experience. Travelers visiting the region often pair a round here with time exploring nearby lakeside towns and the scenic beauty of Wisconsin’s coastline.

Old Head Golf Links

County Cork, Ireland

Few golf settings are as dramatic as Old Head. The course sits on a narrow peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with breathtaking views in nearly every direction.

Ireland’s famous hospitality, historic villages, and legendary golf culture make this region one of the most memorable golf travel destinations in the world.

Manele Golf Course

Lanai, Hawaii

Perched above Hulopoe Bay, this Hawaiian course delivers sweeping ocean views and a spectacular tropical setting. Natural lava formations and seaside cliffs create a layout that is both beautiful and challenging. Many travelers combine golf here with a relaxing stay on Lanai, enjoying luxury resorts, pristine beaches, and the laid back rhythm of island life.

Turn Great Golf Into an Unforgettable Journey

The beauty of golf travel is that it naturally blends sport with exploration. Some of the world’s best courses sit in extraordinary destinations filled with culture, cuisine, history, and natural beauty.

Whether it is a legendary links course in Scotland, a dramatic coastal fairway in California, or a tropical round in Hawaii, these destinations offer far more than a great day on the course.

At Club Cruise™, our team helps travelers design seamless golf journeys that combine world class courses with unforgettable travel experiences.
